Elizabeth continues to lead an active adventurous life on her Chocolate Jungle, sharing the wonders of nature with the local & international community at large.
Born in Ontario, Canada, Elizabeth Hendley has lived and worked in Australia, New Zealand, Denmark, USA, British Columbia and Yukon Territory-Canada.
From country style beginnings on a small Ontario farm and a family move to the Yukon Terr at a young age, Elizabeth started a small business hauled water door to door with her sled dog team in the Yukon, owned fishing boats and several B&B’s on the Southern Coast of BC, cooked in fishing camps and lived in the outback of Australia.
Elizabeth has a degree from the University of Victoria in Anthropology. She has many interests including culture, medicinal plants, and is very involved in the education of the medicinal properties of Chocolate and its rich ancient history.
